		<description>how about focussing on delivering good service as well; making a positive difference, that kind of thing?  In that way, you will keep your software relevant, and that should mean you should be able to keep making money.  Hopefully thats not being too idealistic.</description>

		<description>Stumbled on your blog awhile back.  Wanted to say I heartily agree with you on the money and business issue.  I&#039;ve been working at a small private company for about 6 years (first as an intern, now full time) where our biggest focus is on delivering good software and making enough money to keep delivering good software.  But from the friends I know and blogs I read, its clear this is fairly rare.  I think its simply up to those of us who care to do good work to stay focused on doing good work whenever we possibly can.</description>
