Yeah, I saw this guy’s article got promoted to the “popular” page on del.icio.us. How it got there is beyond me. Is he a bigwig in the blogosphere or something? He presents himself as speaking with authority on the matter, yet has zip for credentials as far as I know.

I made my VLK version of XP SP3 from a SP1 CD with no problems whatsoever. I’d suggest that your desire to have Microsoft bend to your convenience is not something that is covered by the EULA that you agreed to. What, in God’s name, makes you think that the failure of ANY method of creating slipstreams is a “bug”? Do you somehow believe that an OS is supposed to be capable of such manipulations?
