Super handy for creating any sort of presentation, website, or any other sort of visual design, I found this the other day: The Flickr Color Selector. For example, here’s an image that (kind of) matches the background of this website:

Even though this doesn’t really match, with some deft Photoshoppery, I’m sure you can get some decent results. Make sure that the image is licensed properly for reuse and editing, and if you use the image on a public site, don’t be like certain multinational corporations, and make sure to ask the author first about it, even though you’re not obligated to legally.

New York, New York! (Where my hustlas’ at…?)

I uploaded a lot of my pictures that I had forgotten to of the trip, as well as some pictures of Columbus and of our trip to Niagara Falls. Turns out there were a lot of them, like 200 or so, so the tags are your friend

After some handy (or dumb) editing in Flickr, I managed to put half of my pictures in one group, and half in another group. They’re all in the new group now, so forget about the old one

PS: Sorry about the downtime, I have problems with random daemons running amok. ::sigh::
PPS: Turns out when you put a * as the first argument to a crontab entry, bad things happen.

Pictures from the trip so far

I’ll have more time later to write something more, but suffice it to say that I’m having a great time in Germany, even though I can’t speak the language worth anything. Lots of walking and riding trains and what, I feel like I’ve been all over, very busy. But, my pictures will show up on Flickr, so have a look!

My brother is currently camped outside the North Canton, OH Best Buy waiting in line to buy a Nintendo Wii. He’s been there for about 35 hours now, so I’m fairly sure that makes him the next Eric Cartman
